‘Heathen’
English version of the term used throughout the Germanic language group in the early Middle Ages to signify a follower of a non-Christian religion. It was coined originally by the Goths in the 4th century [1].
Also called Ásatrú (true, or loyal, to the Aesir, one of the families of the Norse Gods), Heathenry is usually understood as a modern Pagan path inspired by Norse, Anglo-Saxon and Germanic pre-Christian sources and traditions.

‘Spirituality’
From the Latin ‘spiritus’, meaning breath, air, life, soul, and in a Christian usage, incorporeal being, the immaterial element of a human being [2].
Spirituality is nowadays an umbrella term for different paths and practices leading to self-knowledge and connection with the Divine (with a myriad of perspectives of what that Divine can be). In a Pagan view, the Divine can be understood as cosmic powers, beyond the material world, and/or Natural elements and cycles. All around that can inspire us, uplift us, a mystery for us to unravel in our own way.
Spiritual experiences are many times difficult to express, as they are beyond words, with poetry sometimes the best attempt to try to express them. Whatever those experiences are, they don’t have to come from some blind belief that someone is convincing us to have. There is no need for dogma, just experience. It can be more of a longing, to discover ourselves and the Cosmos, to find our ways to become more balanced within, and in tune with what is around us.

These include meditations, animist and polytheistic philosophies, and ceremonies,
